Daily Routine under GDPR: Myths and Truths
In our daily routine we face with a lot questions related to implementation of GDPR, e.g.: do we need to obtain consent from job applicant to approach former employer for references, is it fine to forward CV of job applicant for second opinion, does consent of employee for use of the name on e-mail address is, indeed, required, can I forward colleague’s baby photo to another colleague, what should I do with business cards obtained in EBN event, can I send out Christmas card to client, does IT outsourcing and usage of cloud solutions make me compliant with GDPR, will I comply to GDPR if I put my customer data into the cloud, what I need to consider in my IT outsourcing agreement in order not to risk breaking GDPR, etc.
During October’s breakfast, Fondia Lithuania and Managed IT Service Provider BTT Cloud will consider typical questions, misunderstands and myths related to our daily activities under GDPR, by focusing on what small and medium companies really need to know from legal and information security point of view.
