In September, the European Business Network invited its members to hear about NATO deterrence and efforts to counter Russia’s threat in the Baltic regions. Guests at the EBN business breakfast, hosted at the Lithuanian Armed Forces Officer Mess, heard from particularly distinguished speakers: Lithuania’s Minister of National Defence Raimondas Karoblis himself as well as Colonel Jakob Søgård Larsen, who commands the NATO Force Integration Unit (NFIU) in Lithuania, and Lieutenant Colonel Miguel Simoes, NFIU communications adviser.
